Preparation Method:
{[1-(4-Methylphenyl) pyrrolidin-3-yl] methyl} amine hydrochloride can be synthesized by the following steps:
1.1-pyrrolidine formaldehyde reacts with 4-methyl aniline to generate 1-(4-methyl phenyl) pyrrolidine -3-formaldehyde.
2.1-(4-methyl phenyl) pyrrolidine -3-formaldehyde is reacted with acetyl chloride to generate 1-(4-methyl phenyl) pyrrolidine -3-acetic acid.
3. The reaction of 1-(4-methylphenyl) pyrrolidine-3-acetic acid with aqueous ammonia produces {[1-(4-methylphenyl) pyrrolidin-3-yl] methyl} amine.
4. Finally, {[1-(4-methylphenyl) pyrrolidin-3-yl] methyl} amine is reacted with hydrochloric acid to form the corresponding hydrochloride salt.
